Rose’s Story

Rose had been involved in an accident while working as a truck driver, when another car crashed into her vehicle. This had become a domino effect of hardships in her life, now two years later and still undergoing continual surgeries for her injuries. Rose receives Workcover insurance that goes solely towards her rent and medication. As she has been unable to work, she is left with no money for food and other essentials. She has been living alone, with no family and friends to help her through her journey to recovery.

During this long process of healing and starting over, Rose has found a reliable channel of ongoing support through Love For Australia. The ready-made meals available at Love For Australia were perfect for Rose on days she was just discharged from hospital and unable to cook for herself. Her strict diet, required due to multiple surgeries, was supported through the variety of products available in our shop. Now, we are met with a bright smile every time we welcome Rose back into our store, and we are overjoyed that she is reassured by the knowledge that ongoing care and support are always within reach.
