Michelle's story

Already having to go through the nightmare of domestic violence, this single mother carried the heavy weight of raising her two sons, both diagnosed with autism, with no support from her own family.
Michelle brought her sons to Love For Australia after seeing the simple set up of our shop that enables her boys to easily choose what food they want. This had already taken a big weight off of her shoulders as her sons were both picky eaters and had trouble finding food they like to eat. As her boys eagerly browsed our shelves, Michelle had found comfort and a sense of peace at Love For Australia and began sharing her struggles with us.
Michelle and her sons left our shop laughing and smiling, with bags full of groceries, and both boys looking forward to coming back.
